------

This project speaks to a critical question often raised by caregivers raising bilingual children: Is there a better way to introduce new words so that their child learn them in both languages?

In this project, I designed and developed a game the children could play on a tablet to test how they learn new words when translations are provided right away versus after a delay. The findings show that children learn equally well with both approaches. This outcome empowers caregivers to speak in a way that feels most natural and comfortable to them when interacting with their child.
